I’m terrible when it comes to keeping up and updating my tumblr. So lets discuss what’s happened in the past year. Graduated college, bought a house, not married(yet) but we’re getting there. It would help if I could find a job. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy bartending, but I didn’t pay thousands of dollars to go to school to get a degree & not use it!

*If you haven’t been on YouTube lately stop what you’re doing and go check out “Jenna Marbles” she is F’n hilarious!

*It’s that time of year again. Another excuse to get drunk in public & actually spend time with your family. If you plan on attending an ugly sweater Christmas party this year go Check out your local thrift store! They’re full of horrific holiday sweaters that are super cheap and super ugly!

*People don’t be scared of EBay. Christmas shop without leaving your house. You can find tons of gifts that won’t break the bank and there are plenty of things on this site that you can even get personalized. For example I bartend so I ordered a pink hawaiian barkeep (bottle opener) that comes complete with my name on the back so no one can steal it. $7 (Yes I buy myself presents at Christmas)

* Which brings me to my next point, when in doubt cash is always a nice present. Gift cards are great but nothing beats opening a Christmas card to a few $20’s

* You know those great family Christmas parties we get to attend? Our family party is never complete without a good old fashioned game of dirty Santa. If your family doesn’t participate in this timeless tradition shame on you. It’s definitely one of the most anticipated events at our family gathering. (We had to outlaw liquor a few years back bc the liquor to actual presents ratio was like 1-4 no lie) I would recommend you put an age restriction on this game. We weren’t allowed to play till we were 16. Parents didn’t like the idea of children “stealing” presents from one another.

*And last but not least do NOT drink and drive. Come on people just because it’s a holiday and you need to drink to stand being around your crazy family members that come down off the mountain once a year, does not give you the right to get behind the wheel and ruin someone else’s holiday by spending it in the hospital.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

It actually snowed today! What I wouldn’t give for a snow day from school today. Finals week is the absolutely most dreaded week of my life. The only bright side is this means classes are almost over and winter break can begin! Speaking of winter break my goal is to do as many arts and crafts as I can! I so would love to learn how to knit not many girls my age have mastered such skills. I plan on being the Gran that knits all the booties for the babies. sewing is also on my learning list. Complete with a sewing machine! So much to look forward to!

Sitting in Social Psych class discussing “Obedience to Authority” & like a good girl I am updating my tumblr account :) had my 1st MRI done yesterday to find out what’s going on with my TMJ. And I’m not joking when I say they literally blindfolded & gagged me and put me in the machine. Apparently the cloth put in my mouth was to hold it open to get the proper pictures needed… An experience I hope to never do again. Surgery is necessary to correct the problem that much I know. Anyone else ever underwent surgery to correct TMJ?

It was so hard to get up today. Rain always makes for a good sleep in day. What’s weird is hearing about tornadoes and tornado warnings around our area. It’s November!! Chloe & Ari are most definitely not fans of the rain, they won’t even step foot outside. Spoiled pups. That’s it for me today, off to class then work.
